Extra AF Accessories
My personal style is fairly easy to break down. I’m into simple, classic silhouettes elevated by bold colors or textures and yes, I do consider black a “bold color”. I keep the canvas clean because my boundaries are non-existent when it comes to accents - the wilder the better, all in fun. I’ve linked some extra af accessories that I am absolutely obsessed with at the moment:
Want to look high maintenance in two seconds? Slink on a pair of these. I mean, how sexy in the most elegant manner possible. Opera gloves are over the top in their obnoxiousness which means they’re basically perfect! Laina Rauma carries some of my favorites in animal prints and summery pastels. Cruella De Vil was onto something. Seriously.
Something about headbands always leaned too feminine for my taste, but now that is exactly what I appreciate them for. Pearls, crystals, velvet, give me all of it. Blair Waldorf is pleased.
Bags That Look Like They Hold Nothing
The mini bag trend has been here for a while and again, I’m obsessed. Between work and having a 3 year old, I’m used to having a large tote with me at all times so when I get the chance to carry a few cards, my phone, and a lip gloss…I go all the way. I’m borderline at the stage where I don’t even care if the purse actually holds anything. O this bag is pointless? Love it!
I love sunglasses for three reasons: sun shade (obviously), avoiding people I know in the grocery store, and inserting drama into an outfit where there was none before.
How do you accessorize? Do you like to brush the side of “doing too much” like I do? or are you more sane with your decisions? Let me know!
